the goal
To inform Junior High school students and parents of an upcoming basketball tournament as well as increase signups for the event. The event proceeds went to Hamilton Christian School for repairs after a devastating hurricane.
the process
I used Adobe Illustrator to create vector shapes, Photoshop to cut out and texturize certain elements, and Indesign to layout and format the typography. The use of a QR code creates an easy way for people to learn more about the tournament and to share with others.
the result
The event was successfully branded and marketed to students and parents through the use of high-quality print and graphic design. The school was able to completely restore the gym floors and allocate funds to other areas for restoration.
